Countdown to what, exactly? Well, no one seems to know. But, this Tuesday StartPad.org is hosting another one of their in-office events. We’ve discussed cloud computing before – it’s a hot topic these days (check out the New York Times article from Sunday), and if you want to know about Amazon’s offerings – EC2, S3, etc. – then Jeff Barr is the man you need to talk to. Jeff is the Web Services Evanagelist for Amazon.com, and he’ll be speaking on Tuesday all about the company’s full line of computing services.
Unfortunately, the sign up for the event is already full, but you CAN toss your name on the waiting list. Or you can meet up with the nPost Pub Crawl that starts immediately afterwards downstairs. Join up with Nathan Kaiser and the other attendees at the Owl ‘n Thistle, in the same building as the StartPad offices. Folks planning to meet up later can keep track of the comings and goings via nPost’s twitter feed.
