Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein is one of the great works of horror and science fiction literature, if not the greatest. On Tuesday the 18th, the Ellot Bay Sci-Fi book group will be meeting to discuss the classic. If you’ve got enough time over the next ten days, you can read the novel, or you can just brush up on the Wikipedia article between now and then.

Every month, Elliot Bay Book Company hosts a Science Fiction and Fantasy Book Club. In October, they’ll be discussing one of the classics of hacker literature – Neal Stephenson’s Snow Crash. Snow Crash is on Time Magazine’s list of 100 Best Novels, next to another seminal cyberpunk work, William Gibsons’s Neuromancer. If you’re reading this blog, you need to read Snow Crash.
