Having made a couple of brief attempts at being my own boss, I can only say that I wish Biznik had been around earlier. But you, you lucky solopreneur… Biznik is here for you, and you should take advantage of that. In fact, why not register tonight and head over to the Technology Happy Hour at Raven’s Gallery Erotic? (An unusual venue for a business networking event, perhaps, but there you go.) The host, Data Lodge’s William Fulton says you don’t need to be interested in technology to attend, and in fact there’s already a diverse list of attendees filling up the RSVP list. Funky, casual, low-pressure… what a great way to connect with potential business partners and clients.
We had a great time at the Technology Happy Hour. Raven’s gallery was a very interesting conversation piece that tended to be an ice breaker upon arrival. I like doing events at wacky places that get people talking. It keeps the event from being too boring.
